Congratulations to Mindy Nakaya, our newest Life Master. Mindy went over the top at the recent July 4th Regional. We are always thrilled when our loyal players get their gold cards. We celebrated her accomplishment with our latest “Life Master Cake.” Mindy Nakaya Peggy Muschett, recently made Life Master. We are certain hubby Neville will soon follow suit. Here Peggy is about to cut the first slice of her Life Master Cake at our club. Peggy Muschett John Banks John Banks threw out the first pitch at a Marlins Game this season. The fact that the Marlins subsequentially embarked on the worst month in their history immediately after this game apparently had nothing to do with him (according to John!). John & Anna Dotte A few weeks ago I received a phone call from two of my bridge students, Anna & John Dotte, who spend their summers in upstate New York. They were very excited that they earned their gold cards in Massachussetts this summer, and couldn't wait to call and let me know. It is always so rewarding to me when my students do well. I was probably more excited than they were! My sincerest congratulations to the Dottes.
Our newest bridge player at Bridge Ace is a retired professional hockey player who played in the NHL for the Philadelphia Flyers and Vancouver Canucks and the WHL with Chicago, New England, and Indianapolis. Here is a video showing Rosaire Paiement taking on Bobby Orr. It seems that Rosie is no stranger to slams! Rosie was introduced to our club by Billy Rose. Billy was also a professional athelete. He played pro football for the  AFL New York Titans (which later became the NFL New York Jets).
