Rich Waugh is a Silver Life Master and professional bridge teacher/director who resides in Boca Raton, Florida. He owns his own full time bridge club in Fort Lauderdale. Bridge Ace runs duplicates Monday through Saturday. He is bridge pro emeritus of the Lauderdale Yacht Club and former Club Manager of the Fort Lauderdale Bridge Club, where he worked for twenty-five years. During his tenure, the club was named the best bridge club in North America by the ACBL. For twenty years he has taught and directed on cruise ships several times each year. He has directed duplicate bridge full time for over thirty years — countless sections in over 20,000 games. Besides bridge, Rich's interests include baseball, golf, crossword puzzles and computer programming. Many of the freeware programs he has written have found their way around the world. The most famous of these programs was the artificial intelligence chat bot SHAMpage.
